Dr. Anneli Driessen PhD, PhD, MSW, MEd, MCC
I was raised in a small town in Germany as a Roman Catholic. I loved the sacredness of the rituals and practices and believed whole-heartedly in everything I was taught. Miracles made sense and I believed that priests and nuns were personally ‘called’ by God to be His servants. I also ‘knew’ that Jesus was the one and only saviour.
However, even though I was convinced that my Faith was the ‘right’ one, my curiosity about other religions was increasing. Maybe they were not all wrong? Maybe they got a few things at least right?
Already early in life I had witnessed much human suffering and remember wanting to find out why people with great hardships were often much happier than those whom seem to have it all? It did not make sense. What was the purpose of it all? How could be there so much injustice, so many lies, so much confusion and so many untruths? There were so many unanswered questions.
Throughout my teenage years I deeply wanted to help the unfortunate and was actively involved as a Christian youth leader. This led to a degree in Social Work.
After receiving this degree I worked in a psychiatric hospital, however, this did not seem to bring about the kind of positive changes I had envisioned. I was very distraught about what I could not make happen, even though I put all my energy into making a positive difference there for the patients. I got very depressed for a few months and disillusioned. I then attended the University of Cologne, Germany, and acquired a Masters’ Degree in Education.
As a young adult I was able to travel, often with my Dad, to over 30 countries and learned about Buddhism, Hinduism and a variety of additional spiritual movements. I relentlessly searched for Truth and came to the conclusion that an all-loving God would not have any need for exclusivity and would welcome anyone with a sincere heart.
After completion of my studies in Germany I was led to come to Victoria, BC, Canada, where I have lived since 1978.
While studying Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes, a friend led me to the University of Metaphysics and the University of Sedona, where I engaged in numerous metaphysical studies. For over 25 years I delved deeply into metaphysical subjects, mysticism and scientific discoveries. I also explored the messages that have been given to us by prophets, as well as those that have been medially transmitted from high-quality channels, such as Edgar Cacey and the Medium Manuela who lives in Austria.
Prior to acquiring a PhD in Metaphysical Science and a PhD in Holistic Life Coaching I had become a Clinical Counsellor in private practice and a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Later I became an ordained Metaphysical Minister with the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM) and established the International Metaphysical Academy in Victoria BC in 2009.
Today one could call me a practicing Metaphysician, transformational Therapist and Coach, and perhaps a scholar of Spiritual Truths. I have dedicated my life to help any individual who is sincerely seeking spiritual guidance. My overall goal is to help fill the Universe with human Souls that are pure in order to have a Universe that is ruled by peace, freedom and harmony, and governed by love and intelligence.
The Metaphysical Academy, which had its early beginnings in 1995, is my venue accomplish this goal. I learned through the Medium Manuela in Austria, who, I believe, may be currently the finest medial channel in the world, that I had agreed, prior to my incarnation, to establish this Metaphysical Academy in Canada. This resonated deep within my Soul and still does today. Even through the most difficult and hardest tests that would present themselves throughout my life and still do, I feel very privileged and love what I do.
This Academy should be and has become the vehicle to share this unprecedented new information from the Beyond with anyone who feels a deep calling to learn about it.
My book Spiritually-Based Leadership reveals more about me and my thinking and may serve as a possible guide to assist the reader in accelerating personal and career advancement, as it attempts to integrate divine principals and laws as well as universal ethics that are rooted within most religious and spiritual traditions.
